These answers come from the year-long archive of my previous chatbot that lived on my previous site iamnicola.ai. I’ve curated the most useful sessions—real questions from operators exploring AI workflows, experimentation, and conversion work—and lightly edited them so you get the original signal without the noise.

conversion-optimization

What's the difference between a CRO consultant and a UX designer?

A CRO consultant focuses specifically on improving conversion rates through data-driven testing and optimization, while a UX designer focuses on overall user experience and usability. CRO consultants use analytics, A/B testing, and experimentation to identify what drives conversions. UX designers focus on user research, information architecture, and creating intuitive interfaces. However, there's overlap—good CRO consultants understand UX principles, and good UX designers consider conversion goals. Many conversion optimization projects benefit from both perspectives. Some consultants offer both services. For conversion-focused projects, a CRO consultant's data-driven approach is often more effective than pure UX design.
