These answers come from the year-long archive of my previous chatbot that lived on my previous site iamnicola.ai. I’ve curated the most useful sessions—real questions from operators exploring AI workflows, experimentation, and conversion work—and lightly edited them so you get the original signal without the noise.

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UI (User Interface) design focuses on the visual and interactive elements users see and interact with—colors, typography, buttons, layouts, and visual styling. UX (User Experience) design focuses on the overall experience users have when using a product, including usability, accessibility, and emotional response. UI is about how things look, while UX is about how things work and feel. Good UI makes interfaces attractive, while good UX makes them useful and enjoyable. Both are important—beautiful UI with poor UX frustrates users, while great UX with poor UI may work but lacks polish. The best products combine both effectively.
