How do I set up conversion tracking in Google Analytics?
Setting up conversion tracking in Google Analytics involves defining goals or events that represent conversions. In GA4, create conversion events by marking existing events as conversions or creating custom events. For e-commerce, enable Enhanced Ecommerce tracking. Set up goals for form submissions, purchases, sign-ups, or other key actions. Ensure tracking code is properly installed on all pages. Test tracking using Google Analytics DebugView or browser extensions. Verify conversions are recording correctly. Example: A SaaS company set up conversion tracking for free trial sign-ups and paid conversions, allowing them to measure funnel performance and optimize each stage.
